The leading Canadian Bar Association journals include many archival topics of the Canadian legal system via four publications: The Canadian Bar Review, The Canadian Competition Law Review, The Canadian International Lawyer, and The Fundamentals of Canadian Competition Law.
The Canadian Legal Information Institute provides access to court judgments from all Canadian courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, federal courts, and the courts in all Canada’s provinces and territories. CanLII.org also contains decisions from many tribunals nationally. CanLII.org also contains the consolidated statutes and regulations of every jurisdiction in Canada. In the last few years, they have added annual statutes Federally and for the provinces of New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, and Quebec.
It focuses on publishing articles that present new theoretical generalizations; report empirical findings; or address the impact of legal developments on issues of social, political, or economic importance from a wide array of disciplinary and ideological perspectives. In addition to notable Canadian scholarship, the Journal publishes submissions from authors around the world who offer international or comparative perspectives.
