Within GEN-Store we accept Visa and Mastercard via online PayPal only. If you wish to pay for any of these products or services via one of the other payment options, please also refer to Terms of Service and please contact us for further directions.
Other than for the odd case of digital delivery where available on some products, we ship exclusively via Canada Post because of their (1) reliable delivery agreements with postal services worldwide, (2) speed of delivery on all package sizes, and (3) their low-cost pricing model. However, this office will ship by your choice of courier/carrier if that courier/carrier serves our shipping point, and you have an account with them that the shipping charges can be charged to.
GEN-FIND Research Associates, Inc. sells books and other genealogical resources that are used for research purposes. Other non-research related products may also be sold on this site. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Therefore, we do not accept returns unless you receive an item from this store in a faulty or damaged condition, or if you receive an item other than that which was ordered.
If the aforementioned conditions apply, please contact us via e-mail and we will promptly provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and exchange the merchandise for an identical item only. We do not process credits nor do we provide cash or credit card refunds. If you receive a faulty or damaged product from us, we will email a shipping label to you so you can return the product at our cost. We also pay for the shipping cost for the replacement product. GEN-FIND Research Associates, Inc. does not accept ‘collect’ nor ‘COD’ parcels.
For a RAN, please send an e-mail outlining your request. Be prepared to provide your invoice number and the date of the purchase. We do not accept responsibility for any item returned without a RAN nor any charges associated to that event. The address to return your shipment to will be provided with the RAN.
